Monach’s Hamilton Shoot

Through line up changes and name changes; I’ve had the lucky opportunity to be following and documenting the journey that these four men have taken. The past few years have taken their toll on a lot of us and Monach did not escape the fate of the pandemic blues. Has hard as it was for them to handle not being able to play live shows and record as a full band due to lockdowns and private capacity restrictions; they did not let that slow them down. They started doing live streams, and recording an acoustic EP that fit the vibes perfectly. Man, they were itching to come back. After show cancellations and the saddening news that their first ever tour was going to be cancelled. They are back.

As always it’s such an extreme pleasure to have the opportunity to photograph these guys! When the province started to open up they rebooked their tour and they invited me to come along! The day we were leaving Hamilton to head to Windsor for the final show; we had some time to kill. As always I offered up some time to try my hand at taking some more band shots like we had done years before at The Mansion in Kingston.

We spotted a beautiful look out off the cliffs and these are just a small handful of the photos that we took that day.

This was one of the best weekends of my life and I was so lucky to be able to spend it with some of my closest friends.
